Meet Kris.

2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28th. I sit next to this young man named Kris in my CIS class. Yes, he is asleep. Yes, he did snore. Yes, we were sitting in the front row. Yes, it lasted for 3-5 minutes. No, I was not able to get video. No, I did not wake him up. No, I am not ashamed. Yes, I did show Kris the picture. Yes, he did laugh.

This is where they cook the turkeys.

Ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at a 4ft x 8ft x 5ft pit of fire. This is where my father in law takes his turkey every year to get cooked along with many other turkeys in his ward.

What is wrong with this picture?

I was looking through some of my cell phone pictures and found an oldy(a few months old) but interesting picture. What is wrong with this situation? If your answer is that I am taking out my phone in a bathroom at ASU and taking a picture of a toilet, you would only get partial credit. Look not at the toilet pur se, but rather the position of it and it's surroundings. You want it, well here it is... That there door practically opens up into the toilet - it just barely fits by. You open the door and bam, you are basically attacked by the toilet itself. That's not all folks - while you are sitting there you have two gigantic cracks that are in the direct line of sight of anyone that enters the bathroom. You're practically on display. There might as well not be any doors - then if you choose to use that toilet you would at least understand before hand what you are getting yourself into. I have to mention that the tiled wall adjacent to this toilet is slanted due south. The wall the toilet is on is about the size you see in the picture. Not the best area for a toilet in the first place. Trust me, I could rant on and on about this, but I believe I have long overstayed my welcome.

What were they thinking?

Daniel Ortega

Fidel Castro and Daniel Ortega

Hugo Chavez and Daniel Ortega
It is quite apparant that the former communist leader of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, was elected to be president. What were they thinking? He has been running for president since 1990, when he was ousted, and somehow he is now going to be back in power. He apparantly ran as a moderate leftist this time-why anybody believes that is a mystery to me. I highly doubt he will be able to turn Nicaragua into a total communist lead country like his buddy Fidel has, however it looks like we have another Hugo Chavez on our hands (A Democratic Socialist).
They probably voted him in because every president they have had since him has also been corrupt. They weren't nearly as bad, but they did steal a lot of money from the people which has contributed to their continued rank of being the second poorest country in the western hemisphere. They have had some real slime balls ruining their country.

Grand Opening of a new Village Inn?

No. This is the line at the Surprise MVD. I was one of 3 people under the age of 70 today. Today I found out first hand how the elderly keep getting drivers licenses. This story is about a lady that represents many in the elderly community. Let's call her Bernice. Bernice was there to renew her drivers license. It so happens that as I was sitting across from Bernice when her number N002 was called. Her number was called and there she was searching for window number 5. So far so good, right? Wrong. She can't find window 5. She's looking and looking, counting the windows (although she doesn't know which side to start the counting from). That's when I fealt bad and pointed her to window # 5. Then she said to me jokingly, "Maybe I shouldn't be driving if I can't see." She then walked over to where I pointed and stood directly in front of the window staring at the big sign with the number 5 on it. That's when I hear, "Where is window #5?" (repeated multiple times). The employee then helped her. The amazing part is that just before this she had passed the eye exam.

I Present To You...The Pride And Joy Of Halloween

This my friends is the trophy for the winner(s) of the costume contest at the Carter Halloween Parté. This trophy will be passed on year after year to the new winner of the costume contest. It is a great honor to possess such a fine piece of workmanship.

A little late...

Last weekend we had the extreme pleasure of attending a costume party hosted by the Carters. It was seriously the best costume party that I have ever gone to. It was so fun. Tatum and I dressed up as Pam and Dwight from "The Office." Believe it or not, we earned first place for our costumes. .. but check these freaks out.
